ꕥ I'M A CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVER THAT LOVES ANCIENT ALIENS, EATING CROISSANTS, PASTEL COLOR PALLETTES, AND CATS. ⋆.ೃ࿔*:・

Having worked for start-ups, agencies, small businesses, and major corporations I’ve gained the advantage of being exposed to all areas of design. As the sole and lead designer for many of these companies, I had to take on many roles and mastered them all. What would be considered overwhelming for other designers, diving into various new design fields at once has only taught me to multi-task and given me invaluable exposure to design processes and experiences most specialized designers never encounter outside of their niche.
My diverse background has given me an in-depth understanding of working in various environments with many different teams. I am able to easily and effectively collaborate with other designers, developers, engineers, marketers, printers, production artists, managers, and more.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE:
01 BRAND IDENTITY
A "Brand Identity" expresses what a brand stands for through distinct, recognizable elements that set it apart from competitors. A strong brand identity shapes how customers perceive a company, creating emotional connections that influence their buying decisions. Common brand elements include: Name, Logo, Color Palette, Tagline, Packaging, Tone and Voice, and Imagery.
Together, these components tell a cohesive brand story. A clear identity increases brand awareness, improves marketing effectiveness, and helps attract and retain the right audience. When marketers understand and define their brand identity, they lay the foundation for sustainable growth and long-term brand value.
02 DESIGN SYSTEMS
A "Design System" is a set of building blocks and standards that help keep the look and feel of products and experiences consistent. Think of it as a blueprint, offering a unified language and structured framework that guides teams through the complex process of creating digital products. A design system can assist in reducing the amount of time spent recreating elements and patterns while designing and building products and interfaces at scale.
Design systems consist of: Foundational Elements, Components, Pattern Libraries, and Guidelines of Use.
03 WEB DESIGN
Web design is the craft of shaping the look and feel of a website. It’s everything a user sees and interacts with, from the overall layout and color scheme (UI design) to the user experience (UX design).
This includes: Visual style (the color palette, fonts, and typography that set the tone for the website), Structure (wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that map out the layout), and User experience (making navigation intuitive and interactions effortless.)
04 DEVELOPMENT
Web development is the technical side of creating a website that turns a design or wireframe into a living, functioning site or mobile app. They’re the architects who build the website’s foundation and ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
There are two main areas of focus in Web development: front-end (what users see) and back-end (the behind-the-scenes logic).
05 BACK END PLATFORMS
A back-end platform is the invisible system of servers, databases, and software tools that handles data, user logins, and business logic behind a website or mobile app. While a front-end experience is what you see on your screen, a back-end platform is the engine room that makes everything function. These back end systems are what powers the front end designs you see at home.
