Alcone Company is the go to source for makeup artists and makeup fanatics alike. They needed a light redesign of their Magento ecommerce site to make it responsive and to re-evaluate their taxonomy and site category structure.

Our team analyzed the ways amateur to professional makeup consumers searched for products and their online shopping habits. After doing user research and comparative analysis we restructured their sorting system to make it easy for users to find their products and other makeup information.

As the UI lead, I took their logo and created a digital style guide for the website including primary and secondary colors, fonts, and artwork and applied these designs to the Magento wireframes for the design proposal. I also assisted with the UX lead in research, wireframes, taxonomy, and more.
